Sustainably Enabled LLC, Phoenix, Arizona, USA, is responsible for the personal information described here. Contact: hello@sustainably-enabled.com.
What we collect and why
When you contact us, we receive the details you provide, such as your name, email, company, and message. We use them to reply, arrange conversations, understand your inquiry, and explore working together. Providing these details is voluntary, but we need contact information to respond. Please do not send sensitive personal information, trade secrets, or confidential documents through the form.
Squarespace also processes technical information, such as IP address, browser, device, and site activity, to operate, maintain, and secure the website. With your permission, optional Squarespace analytics help us understand how the site is used. We do not automatically add inquiries to a newsletter or marketing list, sell personal information, or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use it for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
The services we use
Squarespace: website hosting, contact-form processing and storage, security, and website analytics.
Google Workspace/Gmail: receiving and managing correspondence sent to our email address or forwarded from the contact form.
Google reCAPTCHA: spam protection on the contact form. Google may process device, network, and interaction information to assess whether activity is legitimate.
Calendly: an external booking service. When you follow the booking link, you leave this website. Calendly processes the details you enter to arrange the meeting and provides booking information to us.
These providers process information under their applicable terms and privacy notices: Squarespace, Google, and Calendly. We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect legal rights or security, or obtain professional advice.
Cookies and your choices
Necessary cookies support essential website functions and security. Optional Squarespace analytics cookies are restricted unless you accept them. You can reject optional cookies or change your choice through the site's Cookie Preferences control. See Cookie Preferences for details. Rejecting optional analytics does not prevent you from contacting us. Essential technical and security records may still be processed without optional cookies.
How long we keep information
For inquiries that do not become client engagements, our retention period is generally no more than 12 months after the last meaningful contact. We may retain information longer where an ongoing relationship, legal obligation, or the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims justifies it. Client records are handled according to the engagement and applicable legal requirements. Provider security records, backups, and analytics follow their applicable retention schedules; backup deletion may occur through normal rotation.
Security and international processing
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. However, no website, email service, or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
We are based in the United States, and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries, where privacy protections may differ from those where you live. The providers publish data-processing terms describing safeguards for transfers subject to European or UK data-protection law, including applicable standard contractual clauses and UK provisions: Squarespace, Google Workspace, and Calendly. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your information.
Your rights
Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your information, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. Email us to make a request. We may reasonably verify your identity and will respond within applicable statutory time limits. Where applicable, you may appeal a denied request by replying to us.
Where EU or UK data-protection law applies, our grounds are legitimate interests in responding to business inquiries and operating a secure website, steps requested before entering a contract where applicable, compliance with legal obligations, and consent for optional analytics. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority, including the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
Updates
We may update this notice as our practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
